Two sessions to occur on Friday 9th May 10am-1pm and Friday 16th May 10am-1pm. Work from session 1 will lay the foundation for and carry over into session 2. During this two week course you will learn how to safely use and maintain your oil painting materials both generally and when working outside, and you will produce your first small oil landscape from life. If you've ever experimented with oil paint and struggled then this is the course for you! Open to all regardless of skill level or style. This course is appropriate for adults and teens aged 16+. All oil painting materials will be provided for participants by Goulburn Reginal Art Gallery including fold out stools and portable easels. Our meeting point each week will be the fountain at Belmore Park. Please come wearing enclosed shoes and with appropriate sun protection. Participants will be required to take their painting home after the first session and bring it back with them to continue working the next week, Goulburn Regional Art Gallery is not able to store wet oil paintings between sessions. Please be advised that Goulburn Mulwaree Council is not liable for any personal injury or damages that may be sustained throughout the duration of this program at Belmore Park.
