2026 STFA Merino Cup - Boys & Girls U/10's to U/16's

    [post_content] => The STFA Merino Cup will be continuing in 2026 and will be held across over 2 weekends in February/March. Boys U/12s, U/14s & U/16s will be held on February 28th, Boys U/10s, U/11s, U/13s & U/15s on March 1st and the Girls U/10s, U/12s, U/14s & U/16s will be on March 7th. All games at Cookbundoon Sports Complex.

The Merino Cup is a pre-season event which caters to Country Association representative teams and Metro Community/development squads. 
GIRLS DAY: Approximately 780 players are expected as sides get ready to start their season.
BOYS DAYs: Approximately 1,600 players are expected across the 2 days as sides get ready to start their season
That's a total of 170 teams, and over 2,400 players that are expected to take the field over the 3 days of play.

Matches are 2 x 14 min halves. Finals matches 2 x 20 min halves. Teams guaranteed 3 matches minimum on the day. This is open to any and all teams looking for pre-season matches.

Due to field availability, we will have a cap on nominations for specific age groups. All relevant information is available on the JOTform link. Please email [email protected] for details. Please submit the nomination JOTform and make payment prior to the deadline to secure your spot! Entry fee is $200 for your first team, and $150 per any subsequent teams. e.g. 3 teams entering would cost you $500.
