Good Sports: Goulburn Coaches and Club Leaders Vaping Training

    [post_content] => While plenty of young people have never vaped, 1 in 5 young people aged 14 and over reported using e-cigarettes at least once in 2022-23. As trusted role models, coaches and club leaders can shape young players’ choices around vaping. 

This training gives your coaches and club leaders the confidence they need to support young people on the issue of vaping - giving them the tools and knowledge to make a real difference in young players lives. 

Participants rate the workshops as 4.8 stars. Over 90% of participants say they are now more confident in having a conversation with young people about vaping, explaining the risk and harms of vaping to young people and telling them where to get help and support.

The session will cover:
Up-to-date information on vaping and recent legislation changes 
Insights into why young people vape and what influences them 
Practical strategies to start meaningful conversations with young people about vaping 
Tools to engage and involve parents in supporting healthy choices.
