Another occasion over the 100th Anniversary of Goulburn’s 1924 Motorcycle Grand Prix weekend, is the showcase dinner scheduled for Saturday evening. This event will be host to special guests, racing dignitaries and family members of entrants in the 1924 race.

With the promise of the opportunity to meet and chat with their racing greats, an auction, entertainment and dancing, this evening will also launch the next day’s re-run when hundreds of motorcycles from early 1900 models to their most recent machines, will tackle the original Grand Prix track.

The very talented Antonio Morelli, chef for the evening, has planned a wonderful buffet menu consisting of a bread roll and butter, chicken supreme with mustard beurre blanc or slow roast grass fed beef with red wine peppercorn sauce mains with mixed roast vegetables, apple and fennel coleslaw or mixed garden salad and lemon polenta cake or sticky date cake.

Plus, time spent with old friends, time to make new friends, and time to remember all those who raced in 1924 against much more difficult odds than many will encounter today.

The ticketed dinner event will be hosted at the Veolia Arena, bookings essential, bookings close June 14th

Proudly sponsored by Goulburn Motorcycle Club.
