Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
For teens and adults - In this workshop for beginners, you'll start with some simple printmaking and while these works dry, you'll learn an easy book-binding technique to stitch pieces of paper together to make your very own notebook. What's the printmaking part for? To make a bespoke wrap-around cover!
About Saskia Haalebos - Saskia is an ACT-based multi-disciplinary artist working across themes of time, memory, mortality, empathy and miscommunication. She works across animation, audio, code, film, performance, printmaking, text and zines—whatever the idea calls for really. She’s a big fan of the low-fi aesthetic and sharing tips for creating simply and economically.
Saskia acknowledges and pays respect to the Ngunnawal/Ngunawal and Ngambri people, the traditional custodians of the land on which she works, lives and is grateful to have been born, Kamberri/Canberra.
