DESCRIPTION:Horizons explores connections between the body\, the natural world and the built environment. The term horizons can indicate limitlessness\, opportunity and optimism\, or\, conversely\, be seen as a perceived barrier\, feared sense of the unknown\, or a warning sign. The exhibition embraces the breadth of these interpretations\, looking at the ways we desire to draw close to the environment while also acknowledging the constructed physical\, digital and mental barriers created between humankind and the landscape. \nThe idea of horizons as moments of precipice\, meeting\, or confrontation with the more-than-human worlds is investigated through the diverse and innovative practices of leading Australian artists living and working across Australia. The exhibition presents works by artists Gemma Brown\, Rowan Conroy\, Marian Drew\, Lizzie Hall\, Bianca Hester\, Janet Laurence\, Guido Maestri\, Mandy Quadrio and Isadora Vaughan. Horizons features a dynamic range of media including ceramics\, audio-visual works\, photography\, painting and installations. \nThe impactful works featured in Horizons will look at human intervention in the natural world in order to consider historic moments of destruction\, contend with our present\, and posit possible futures.

What are the high-risk situations and how can we be safer? You will also learn about the Child Safe Standards and how they can be applied in your club. This service\, which is open to the public\, will honour the 242 Goulburn district residents who enlisted or conscripted into National Service\, and the seven men who died during the Vietnam War. \nFor more information about the service\, please contact the RSL Sub Branch. \nThe Rocky Hill War Memorial and Museum will be open on Sunday 17th August\, and will have a number of Vietnam War-related objects on display. \nLest we forget.

Physie is the perfect combination of dance movements designed to increase strength\, fitness and flexibility. Physie is a synchronised\, team-based dance sport that’s social\, fun and an excellent low-impact dance and aerobic activity.. \nGoulburn Physie was established in 2016 and is a community-run club. In 2025 they will be hosting a friendly interclub competition in Goulburn. Clubs will be attending the Goulburn Interclub from across NSW and the ACT with a range of competitors aged from four years to over 60. Ladies and Senior (13 plus) competitions will be held on Saturday and Junior (four to 12 years) competitions will be held on Sunday. \nProudly supported by Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
