Sakshi Kumar is a Kathak dancer - M.A in Kathak, teacher, choreographer and actor.
Suresh Kumar is a Mayurbhanj Chauu dancer and choreographer.

Sakshi will be showcasing various aspects of Kathak dance with live musicians. Her dances feature intense footwork, pirouettes and beautiful hand movements. As part of her act, she will perform a bhajan on Mahatma Gandhi.

Together, Suresh and Sakshi Kumar will present an energetic duet displaying a fusion of Kathak and Chauu Dance with dazzling turns and intricate techniques.

Sakshi Kumar runs SANSKRITI- A School of Indian Performing Arts in Australia.

She has worked as a Cultural Ambassador at the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan for more than two years and has performed internationally at major festivals and also at President‘s House in India when former U.S. President Barack Obama visited India to meet PM Narendra Modi.

Sakshi has worked in Bollywood songs featuring Kathak, TV serials, short films and theatre and is continuing the same in Australia by acting & choreographing in the English play ‘Romeo & Juliet’ with The Lieder Theatre.
