[post_content] => The Goulburn Harness Club - Goulburn Cup is Goulburn’s principal meeting of the season, the 'Frank and Edna' Cup. Held on the second Sunday of April in 2025, the fixture hosts the best horses in New South Wales and provides harness fans and families an outstanding afternoon of entertainment.

The club's signature race is the Goulburn Soldiers Club worth AUD60,000. The Group Three race is contested over the 2240 metres and the honour roll lists many of Australia’s best pacers including Inter Dominion winner Tiger Tara, Miracle Mile winner Baby Bling, and the course and race record holder For A Reason who has also won the 2013 Victoria Cup.

This years event will see some of the best local music icons on stage alongside all of the harness racing action as well as many side attractions such as Mechanical Bull rides, jumping castle, face painting, children's raffle and the family fun day novelty picnic races and events providing entertainment for all the family.

The day supports important local organisations. In previous years, the gate takings have been donated to Convoy For Kids Goulburn, Goulburn High School and the Goulburn Base Hospital.
