Founded over 130 years ago as the Bjelke-Petersen School of Physical Culture\, BJP has proudly inspired generations of Australians to exercise both body and mind through this remarkable sport. Physie is the perfect combination of dance movements designed to increase strength\, fitness and flexibility. Physie is a synchronised\, team-based dance sport that’s social\, fun and an excellent low-impact dance and aerobic activity.. \nGoulburn Physie was established in 2016 and is a community-run club. In 2026 they will be hosting a friendly interclub competition in Goulburn. Clubs will be attending the Goulburn Interclub from across NSW and the ACT with a range of competitors aged from four years to over 60. Ladies and Senior (13 plus) competitions will be held on Saturday and Junior (four to 12 years) competitions will be held on Sunday. \nProudly supported by Goulburn Mulwaree Council.

DESCRIPTION:Dust off your bikes and bring the family along to Goulburn Mulwaree Council’s 2025 Community 1km to 5km Bike Ride\, on Sunday 20th of September beginning at Riverside Park and on Walking Track along the Wollondilly River before returning to Riverside Park. \nThis bike ride is a great success due to support from the Police\, Youth Council\, Community and GMC volunteers. We are encouraging a gold coin donation to take part with all proceeds being donated to the Men’s Shed. \nRoad Safety Quiz participants have the chance to win one of two bikes and three helmets donated by Goulburn Rotary\, our long term partners in road safety. \nA bike/helmet check will commence at 10am\, with the ride beginning at 11am. Plus\, a chance to dress up in the imaginative genre that combines Victorian elegance with steam-powered innovation\, and if you are game enter the highlight of the Fair\, the costume parade. \nThe Goulburn Historic Waterworks\, situated on the beautiful Wollondilly River\, hosts the annual Steampunk Goulburn\, seeing an influx of characters complementing the Waterworks’ architecture and aesthetic. The Victorian Georgian-style Pumphouse Museum will be open and steaming all day\, with experienced tour guides on hand to talk with you about the magnificent stationary steam engines\, the 1883 Appleby Beam Engine and the 1866 Hick Hargreaves Horizontal Engine. Both are operated by a wood-fired 1960 Spencer Hopwood Cross tube vertical boiler.
