Celebrate the beginning of NAIDOC Week with a special visit from Yama2you Bush Tucker Nursery. Yama2you is run by Greg Smith, proud Kamilaroi man living in the Southern Highlands. He will share a few aspects of culture from bush tucker, and discuss the partnership between country, plant, and animal.

This family-friendly session will include bush tucker taste testing. Greg will also bring traditional artefacts to look at and talk about how they were made, including the science behind the boomerang. The library will have a display of Indigenous children’s books and open-ended art making for families.

Join Yama2you on an adventure learning how to connect and care for country. Suitable for all ages.
