Using a simple intuitive interface, kids learn to program the Beebot to move forward, turn, stop, flash lights and make sounds, all within themed challenges designed to teach children planning and spatial awareness. Students will work in pairs or threes as they are guided through a series of challenge mats and obstacles. This engaging workshop offers students a chance to learn real-time programming in a fun atmosphere. Additionally, it’s great for children learning about coordinates and sequential reasoning. For ages 5-7 years, parents are required to stay. Tickets cost $5 and places are limited. Bookings are essential and will open on 20 July 2022.
